Broken down into three phases, was a proposal on a new signage and wayfinding system for the interior and exterior of the museum. The process was conducted over a two and a half month period where the phase were projected as a powerpoint presentation to the Explorit board of directors. Through research and on-site visitation, the proposal consisted of several project points such as project summary, sign and site audit, preliminary sign location plans, final sign location plans, models and mock-ups, elevation drawing and specification, and sign types scaled in situation. The challenge to the project proposal was due to the museuem's limited budget. Emphasizing the importance of sustainablity, the proposal focused on the use of light-weight, recycled materials.
