Space Stretched Cotton Pattern
{Winter 2006}
The pattern was created from an experimental study on the word, "space." I decided to use typography as my main focus and by typing the word numerous times and printing it out, I was able to cut the words and physcially arranged it into a pattern. I repeatedly scanned and increased the sizing until I was able to manipulate it into a pattern I was satisfied with. The pattern was printed on cotton and stretched across canvas stretchers.
